20th January 2023: Over 35 Abans Group staff members represented the Abans Group at the Telematics Conference 2023 in Colombo held at Shangri-La Ball Room last Friday.

Jerastin Dubash, Digital Lead, Abans Group of Companies, was invited as a guest speaker to talk about how telematics was used by Abans to manage through the pandemic. Abans Group won and award for “Most comprehensive vehicle telematics solution” as well. We had staff representing various departments from Abans PLC from Back Office and Elite, Digital teams, Electronic Service Centre, from Abans Service Department and Abans Engineering.

Major kudos to our main fleets at Kadolkale headed by Mr. Ranjith along with Hemantha and Nipuna. And many thanks to Sahan Siriwardane for driving the implementation across the Group.

Abans Electricals Service Department use of telematics has also improved in leaps and bounds with the employment of two dedicated employees Chaminda and Thuwan. Overall, a great and positive outcome for all the teams.
