Abans Land owns the real estate for the current Colombo City Centre mixed development project which incorporates 200,000 square feet of prime retail space in an international standard mall housing world renowned global brands, a 700-seat food court and a state-of-the-art cinema complex. Abans Land’s proposed site in Nuwara Eliya is located along the Upper Lake Road, facing Nuwara Eliya’s picturesque Lake Gregory. Nuwara Eliya is fast becoming a tourism hub for the central hills district in Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka’s Tourism Authorities are promoting further development of tourism infrastructure in this area.
Abans Land’s proposed site in Bentota is located in the Bentota Tourism Development Zone between the Centara Ceysands Hotel and the Hayleys Holiday Bungalow. This Bentota land is in the South West coastal tourism hub of Sri Lanka and is an attractive resort location while the overall region is slated for further infrastructure development through the Sri Lankan Tourism Authorities. This land is currently provided through the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority on a 99 year lease along with a freehold property along the river bank with access from Galle Road with enough space for the construction of guest arrival facilities including a boat house, staff accommodation and parking.
Abans Land also possesses acreage at two different sites – at Seeduwa and Kadolkelle – closely located to Sri Lanka’s main international airport at Katunayaka, for the development of logistics hubs. The Seeduwa site is 3 acres in size and has 65,000 square feet of warehouse space available and includes a bonded store area. The Kadolkelle site is 18 acres in size with over 180,000 square feet of warehouse space available, and also includes a container yard fitted out with the latest equipment, a large yard for vehicle parking and storage of refrigerated containers. A further 70,000 square feet of warehouse space along with a public bonded store are planned for this site.
