Abans launches the ‘Safe To Listen’ – JBL Campaign

Abans has just launched a groundbreaking ad campaign for JBL products, building awareness of the product range’s benefits for consumers while spreading knowledge about mental health issues faced by Sri Lankans due to the impacts of COVID e.g. isolation, depression, etc.
The ongoing pandemic has created a massive shift towards having to entertain ourselves in a safe environment, especially by isolating in our own homes. This social isolation, however, can also lead to negative feelings and depression and so music can be a welcome saviour when it comes to bettering your mood and keeping you entertained and safe.
Listening to loud music for long periods of time or keeping the source of the music too close to you can often lead to adverse impacts on your hearing. JBL, however, is globally certified as being safe for the listener, incorporating technology that ensures that even the loudest volume emitted from a JBL product is lower than 80 decibels and will cause no harm even during long hours of usage.
It helps you sleep better. Music offers a distraction from stressful thoughts and can also mask distracting noises in the environment, inducing relaxation and a sleepier state.
It Elevates Mood. Music can boost the brain’s production of the hormone dopamine. This increased dopamine production helps relieve feelings of anxiety and depression.
